Jana Hawley - Lower School Music and Singing
B.F.A. Music, Cornish College of the Arts, Seattle, WA; Certificate, Waldorf Music Teacher Training, Sunbridge College.
Jana teaches music and singing in grades one through eight. She is a member of the music committee, the Festival Committee, and the Child Study Group.
Jana currently consults with music teachers in two developing Waldorf schools, helping to start their music programs. She also mentors students in the Waldorf Music Teacher Training at Sunbridge College, for which she serves as program director.
Bill Pernice - Band, Orchestra and Chorus
In 1988, Bill graduated from the teacher training program at Sunbridge College. He has worked as a professional pianist for many years, playing with such legendary artists as Jon Hendriks and Willie Nelson.
A former Waldorf school kindergarten teacher, Bill has been at Green Meadow since 1992. In addition to teaching fifth through eighth grade orchestra, high school chorus and high school band, he teaches seventh grade math and will be co-advisor to the Class of 2013. He serves on the music and finance committees.
Jacqueline Stern - Orchestra
B.M. Music Education, Ithaca College; M.M. (performance), Manhattan School of Music.
Jackie conducts both the lower school and the high school orchestras. She also serves on the Festival Committee.
A cellist and member of Encore Trio, Jackie is the conductor of the Westchester Junior Strings (part of Greater Westchester Youth Orchestras).
Karen Tallman - Pianist
B.A. Music, Douglass College of Rutgers University. 
Karen is the coordinator of the Music Department and chairs both the Festival Committee and the Music Committee. She has written, arranged and performed music for many class plays and eurythmy classes.
Karen is currently working on a book for eurythmy teachers with eurythmy teacher Maria Ver Eecke, which will include her original music. A member of the Green Meadow teaching staff since 1983, she is a passionate knitter and loves long-distance travel.
Anna Teigen - 3rd Grade Violin and Viola, 4th Grade Orchestra
B.M. Music Education, University of Wisconsin, Madison; Suzuki Teacher Training, School for Strings, NYC.
Anna performs with Hot Under the Caller, a contra dance band, and is the director of the Suzuki Program at the Rockland Conservatory of Music.
