To help prospective parents learn more about Green Meadow Waldorf School, we offer the following upcoming admissions events.  Some events are open to both parents and students, while others are designed for parents only.   (Please note following each event description whether advance registration is requested or required.)

Introductory Session

Friday, March 12
9:00 am in the Lower School Music Room

A wonderful introduction to Green Meadow Waldorf School, each two-hour long session begins with the viewing of "Waldorf Education: A Vision of Wholeness," a video presentation on Waldorf Education featuring Green Meadow.  A question and answer period with our administrator, Kay Hoffman, follows.  Each session concludes with a campus tour.  Introductory Sessions are the first required step in our application process.

A Morning in the Nursery/Kindergarten

Saturday, March 13
9:30-11:00 am in the Lower School Building
Discover what makes a Waldorf Nursery/Kindergarten so magical!  Speak with our Early Childhood teachers while your child enjoys typical Nursery/Kindergarten activities.

Walk Through the Grades

Thursday, March 18
8:30-10:30 am in the Lower School Building
Observe a sampling of Lower School "Main Lessons" and ask questions of Administrator Kay Hoffman.

Nursery/Kindergarten Tea and Play

Wednesday, March 24
1:00-2:00pm in the Kindergarten classroom in the Lower School Building
Explore a Kindergarten classroom with your child while sharing conversation and tea with a Nursery/Kindergarten teacher. Drop-in event for parents and children.  No registration necessary.

Gentle Beginnings

A workshop for expectant parents.
Mondays: April 19 and April 26
7:30-9:00 pm

Under the guidance of a Waldorf Early Childhood educator and based on the principles of Waldorf Early Childhood education, expectant parents will be introduced to a warm and inspirational approach to welcoming their new babies.

High School Open Day

Tuesday, April 20
8:00-11:00 am in the High School Building
Discover what Green Meadow's high school has to offer.  Sit in on Main Lesson classes, learn about our college guidance process, foreign exchange program, and senior projects and internships, and speak with faculty, students and parents.

For parents and middle school and high school students.  Registration required.

High School Tours

Student led tours are available on Friday afternoons, 12:45-1:15pm.
