International and Exchange Students
International Students
Students applying from China should contact the Cambridge Institute of International Education (www.thecambridgeinstitute.org), with whom we have partnered to help guide you through the admissions process.
Green Meadow is registered with SEVIS, the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System, and is authorized to issue I-20s to international students.
Visiting Student and Exchange Student Program
Since Green Meadow has gained a worldwide reputation for excellence in Waldorf Education, our Exchange Program often has more inquiries from abroad than we are able to fill.
As a result, we now offer these Waldorf students the chance to attend Green Meadow without the exchange component by boarding with a Green Meadow host family for up to a year. Both the Exchange Program and the Visiting Student Program enrich our entire school community.
Students who are interested in attending Green Meadow’s high school, but live too far to commute, can inquire about boarding arrangements with host families in the school community. Flexible boarding options are available.
All visiting students will need to apply for an I-20 before entering Green Meadow. Green Meadow is registered with SEVIS, the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System and is authorized to issue I-20s to international students.
For more information about any of these programs, please contact High School Guidance Counselor Joanne Monteleone at 845-356-2514 x312 or jmonteleone@gmws.org.
