What You Can Do

Learn More about the Work of the Development Office

The mission of the Green Meadow Development Office is to raise the funds we need to provide an exceptional education to all our students, and make a Waldorf Education accessible to every family in our area who wants it. By supporting this work, you help fund vital programs, keep Green Meadow tuition affordable, and boost Tuition Assistance funds. You can make a difference. We can't do it without you!

Give to the Annual Fund

Because tuition covers only about 87% of the cost of each Green Meadow student's education, the Annual Fund exists to fill the remaining gap. Every gift counts, whether it's $20 or $20,000, and our goal this year is 100% participation, an important measure of community support to outside donors.

Arrange a matching gift through your employer and double or triple your impact. Contact Lynne Wu, Director of Development, at 845.356.2514 x304 to find out how.

All gifts are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.

Be Part of Green Meadow History: Buy a Brick for the Arts Building Courtyard

Contact the Development Office to support our school by purchasing a brick for our courtyard. Honor a child, teacher, friend, or family member; get others to purchase with you in the name of your class; or donate in memory of someone who has passed.

Support the Shadrach Woods Diversity Fund

Donations to the Shadrach Woods Diversity Fund support our ability to attract students from a wide range of backgrounds (including racial, ethnic, socio-economic, family structure, faith traditions, and more). Learn more.

Buy at least $300 in SCRIP Every Month

Consistent SCRIP participation directly grows Tuition Assistance funds and costs you nothing extra. Sign up for monthly auto-SCRIP, or send in your SCRIP order with your child each Wednesday morning and your SCRIP will be sent home that same afternoon. Click here to learn more.

Sign up with Hudson Energy Services

Green Meadow has partnered with Hudson Energy Services to save you money and help raise funds for the school at the same time. Hudson Energy Services guarantees their residential customers a minimum monthly savings of 5% on the gas portion of their Orange & Rockland bill and a savings, as well, on the electricity portion. While this saves you money each month on your energy costs, it also raises funds for Green Meadow by generating a monthly commission for every residence that signs up using our promotion code. There is no contract to sign and no sign-up fee. Sign-up now online -- simply click HERE. Remember to use promotional code GMWS so the school gets the monthly commission while you save on your energy bills! Download the enrollment form HERE.

If you are already a Hudson Energy customer, you can still switch your account to Green Meadow. Commercial properties are also entitled to this discount. So, if you own a business or you think your employer might be interested, please contact Miriam Stiefel of Hudson Energy at 845-228-3401 to get the best fixed rate available.

** Please note that you must use promotional code GMWS and Orange & Rockland requires two weeks notice before the first of the month for enrollment to take effect.

If you have any questions, please contact Miriam at 845-228-3401.

Other Ways...

There are lots of additional ways to support Green Meadow. Seed our Endowment Fund; contribute to one of our scholarship funds; help us win a foundation grant; include us in your will or ask family members to do so; shop at Meadowlark Toys and Crafts, which donates a percentage of their profits to Green Meadow; encourage extended family to buy SCRIP; and attend our events. Let us know your ideas!
