Learn More about the Work of the Development Office
The mission of the Green Meadow Development Office is to raise the funds we need to provide an exceptional education to all our students, and make a Waldorf Education accessible to every family in our area who wants it. By supporting this work, you help fund vital programs, keep Green Meadow tuition affordable, and boost Tuition Assistance funds. You can make a difference. We can't do it without you!
For more information about the work of the Development Office and why it matters, contact Bill Pernice, Director of Development, at 845-356-2514 x328 or
bpernice@gmws.orgor visit him in the High School building.
Join the Development Group
The Development Office has just one full-time staff person and one half-time support staffer, and relies on parent volunteers to serve on this dynamic group, in order to help us meet our goals. Every parent is encouraged to attend a meeting to understand our work and the opportunities to get involved.
Give to the Annual Fund
Because tuition covers only about 87% of the cost of each Green Meadow student's education, the Annual Fund exists to fill the remaining gap. Every gift counts, whether it's $20 or $20,000, and our goal this year is 100% participation, an important measure of community support to outside donors.
Arrange a matching gift through your employer and double or triple your impact. Contact us to find out how.
All gifts are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.

Sign up with Hudson Energy Services
Green Meadow has partnered with Hudson Energy Services to save you money and help raise funds for the school at the same time. Hudson Energy Services guarantees their residential customers a minimum monthly savings of 5% on the gas portion of their Orange & Rockland bill and a savings, as well, on the electricity portion. While this saves you money each month on your energy costs, it also raises funds for Green Meadow by generating a monthly commission for every residence that signs up using our promotion code. There is no contract to sign and no sign-up fee. Sign-up now online -- simply click HERE. Remember to use promotional code GMWS so the school gets the monthly commission while you save on your energy bills! Download the enrollment form HERE.
If you are already a Hudson Energy customer, you can still switch your account to Green Meadow. Commercial properties are also entitled to this discount. So, if you own a business or you think your employer might be interested, please contact Miriam Stiefel of Hudson Energy at 845-228-3401 to get the best fixed rate available.
** Please note that you must use promotional code GMWS and Orange & Rockland requires two weeks notice before the first of the month for enrollment to take effect.
If you have any questions, please contact Miriam at 845-228-3401.
