After-School Program Teachers

Andrew Gilligan

Andrew Gilligan recently moved to Chestnut Ridge from Keene, NH, where he has spent the last year at Antioch University, working towards his M.Ed. with Waldorf teacher training and New Hampshire state teaching certification.  He spent four years previous to this in Asheville, NC, where he worked at a small independent school while completing a foundation year in Anthroposophy with the Center for Anthroposophy, and studying education at the University of North Carolina. He graduated from the University of Vermont in 2007, where he began his studies in creativity, art, writing, literature, and philosophy.  He also very much enjoys a good song or game of tag, and is happy to be joining the Green Meadow community.

Paige Hartsell

Paige Hartsell was the grade school After-care Director and teacher at the Charlottesville Waldorf School for several years, and assisted at The Rose Garden, Sharifa Oppenheimer’s Kindergarten program in Virginia. She has spent many years building community around conscious parenting, and just moved to Chestnut Ridge with her younger child, who joined GMWS this fall.
