Overview
Green Meadow Waldorf School warmly welcomes families to its Parent-Child programs. Classes are held at Meadow's Gate, adjacent to the Green Meadow campus.
The Mothers* Circle
(*fathers welcome, too!)
Our Mothers Circle classes introduce parents with very young children to a Waldorf-inspired approach to parenting. In a warm and supportive home-like setting, friendships and a growing sense of community are nurtured as families participate in simple home-making activities, children engage in creative play and parents interact with one another. The class teacher may bring simple circle games and stories that nourish the children’s budding imaginations, while also offering opportunities for parents to explore seasonal crafts, learn about sleep, health and nutrition, the care and protection of the senses and how to establish rhythms and routines in the home.
