Mina Rogers

Mina was born and raised in Japan, where she spent her childhood summers playing in the countryside near Nagano. During her college years, she enjoyed long distance mountain backpacking trips. She discovered Waldorf Education 25 years ago when her first son was 6 months old. Over the course of years, while her son was a student at the Waldorf School of Garden City, Mina worked as the Assistant Handwork Teacher, Nursery Teacher as well as Parent/Child Teacher for Japanese families. During this period, she translated “Simplicity Parenting” into Japanese. Mina is a trained Waldorf early childhood teacher, Simplicity Parenting Family Life / Discipline and Guidance Group Leader, who holds a certification from Mindful Parenting Teacher Training (MPTT) as well as RIE Foundation Course (Resources For Infant Educarers).
