We believe that money has a deeply spiritual dimension…
Money is a form of energy that connects one person to another and strengthens the bonds of community.

What is the Annual Growth & Renewal Fund?

Over the years, out Annual Fund, now re-named the Annual Growth & Renewal Fund, has been a vital source of revenue which has strengthened Green Meadow's operating budget. It allowed us the flexibility to ensure we have the programs we need to educate our children, support our teachers, and provide essential funds for tuition assistance. Annual gifts, which are received and spent in the same year, have an immediate impact on the mission of Green Meadow Waldorf School.

The Annual Growth & Renewal Fund will provide resources for short-term, smaller-scale yet high-impact enhancement projects for each section of GMWS through outright, charitable gifts.

Early Childhood & Lower School:

Enhancing the outdoor and garden experience for the Early Childhood, including new raised garden beds, herbs, flowers, and children's gardening tools; a swing set and garden gate for Duryea Farm Kindergarten, as well as a garden glider bench and a dumptruck wagon for the Fellowship Kindergarten.

Investing in the Lower School Children's Garden program. Highlights include a new greenhouse, cold frames, work table, composting station, garden tools, and hardware.

Updating the Lower School Library to expand its usability for the students and everyone in our community. Highlights include: mobile wooden bookcases of different sizes, display board facades above highest metal shelving, updated nonfiction and resource materials, multicultural authors and titles, reference materials, study nooks, presentation space and round tables for collaborative projects.

High School:

Modernizing the dry lab to align with the recent chemistry lab renovations in the High School; installing additional overhead projectors in more classrooms, and investing in an outdoor classroom canopy to extend its use to the students and the whole community.

All contributions must be made before June 30, 2018 to be installed by next fall, school year 2018-2019.
