Christina Roberts

High School Life Sciences and Mathematics Teacher

Christina taught high school Biology and Earth Science for eight years in NYC before joining Green Meadow.  While teaching, she spent two summers as a visiting scholar at Columbia University, where she worked on a research team under the guidance of Columbia University faculty. She presented research at a national conference during oral and poster presentations, entitled “Defects of the Enteric Nervous System Resulting from Inhibition of the Serotonin Transporter (SERT) During Development,” as well as contributing to peer-reviewed research published in Gastroenterology. She has participated in fieldwork exploring the impacts and management of invasive species in the Hudson Valley, and worked on a sea turtle conservation project in Costa Rica.

Christina came to Green Meadow in 2019 and began teaching Biology, Mathematics, Earth Science, and Chemistry. She currently lives in Chestnut Ridge and has two children who attend Green Meadow.
