Dorothy Rosano Walden

After School Teacher

Dorothy Rosano Walden joined the Green Meadow community in 2005 when her daughter, Kyla-Rose Walden, enrolled in the early childhood program. In 2006, Ms. Walden began to serve as an Afternoon Kindergarten teacher and coordinated the lower school After School program. In addition, she managed and prepared menus for the Kindergarten kitchen. In 2010, she attended Sophia’s Hearth Family Center to complete the course “The Child and the Family in the First Three Years” to enrich her understanding of early childhood through the lens of Waldorf philosophy. She also holds a college degree in the liberal arts.

Ms. Walden is a warm, kind, and nurturing presence in the community. She is honored to help provide Green Meadow students with a nurturing and supportive environment in the after school program.
