Doug Wyatt

Advisory Board Vice President

Doug is a former software entrepreneur who founded two startups after dropping out of the PhD program at MIT’s Laboratory for Computer Science in 1998. In 2007, he went back to law school to change careers, and spent over seven years as a human rights lawyer in India, where his work focused on housing rights for the urban poor, the right to education, disability rights, and women’s political rights. He now does pro-bono work for several NGOs, and serves on the Advisory Board of UC Berkeley’s Center for Effective Global Action.

Doug has Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and a JD from New York University School of Law.

Doug has been a parent at Green Meadow since 2019, and joined the Advisory Board in 2021.
