Woodwork and Applied Arts Grades 4-12, Advisor, Vice-Chair for Safety

Kemal attended GMWS for 14 years and graduated in 2007. After completing his undergraduate degree, he taught for five years at the Maine Coast Waldorf School in Freeport, ME. He also served as the elementary grades (1-8) Faculty Chair and sat on the Leadership Committee and the College of Teachers.

He moved back to Chestnut Ridge in 2017 after the birth of his son and started working at Green Meadow. Having taught math and advising two classes, he now serves as the Senior Class Advisor. He teaches woodwork and clay in the middle school, and Applied Arts in the high school. He is the vice-Chair for Safety on the Health and Safety Team, and is an executive member of the COVID task force.
