Kemal attended Green Meadow Waldorf School from kindergarten to twelfth grade. After his undergraduate degree, he moved to Maine to teach at the Maine Coast Waldorf School, teaching woodwork and math among other subjects. While there, he earned his M. Ed. from Antioch University.
In 2017, Kemal moved back home with is family and taught math to grades 6-12 at Green Meadow. In 2020, he took over the woodwork and applied arts programs and as been teaching 5-12 grade crafts. His three children now attend Green Meadow, following in his footsteps.
