Sanjay Kumar Chhetri

Math and Science Teacher

Born and raised in the laps of the Himalayas in Nepal, Sanjay double-majored in mathematics and literature at Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu. He taught mathematics and physics at high schools in Kathmandu for four years before moving to the US in 2015. After graduating from Ramapo College of New Jersey with psychology major in 2019, he has been pursuing Masters of Arts in quantitative psychology. His graduate level academic training involves research methodology, statistics, computer programming, data science, and computational linguistics. He speaks four languages – Nepali, English, Hindi, and Spanish.

Sanjay joined Green Meadow in the beginning of 2022. He has taught math and physics in high school and math in middle school. A chess enthusiast, Sanjay runs Green Meadow Chess Club. He also co-runs the Green Meadow Programming Club.
