Shelley Gutknecht

Fourth and Fifth Grade German Teacher

Shelley spent 12 years in Hamburg, Germany, teaching English as a second language in Waldorf Schools as well as teaching German to Refugees and Immigrants from around the world. She is currently the assistant director at the Otto Specht School, working with neurodivergent children.

Having graduated from Green Meadow and participated in the student exchange program, she fell in love with Germany and the German language and is elated to share it with young students at her alma mater.
