Green Meadow is an independent Nursery-12th grade school, located in Rockland County, NY on a pastoral campus, which includes a school farm, woodlands, and meadows. GENERAL INFORMATION FOR FULL-TIME POSITIONS
Parent & Child Teacher
We are seeking a teacher for Parent & Child/Infant playgroups for preschool-aged children. Classes meet weekly in the morning. In a friendly private school setting, classes provide parents with an opportunity to learn more about the principles of Waldorf Early Childhood education and how they can be applied in the home. The teacher will create an atmosphere of warm and supportive companionship with other families, creating a beautiful experience for both parents and children. This position is paid hourly. Qualifications: Background in working with parents and young children, Bachelor’s degree, and training as Waldorf Early Childhood educator preferred.

Woodwork—Practical Arts Teacher Intern
Green Meadow Waldorf School is seeking an intern/assistant for the woodworking/practical arts program, serving grades 4th – 12th. A qualified candidate will have the following experience:
- familiarity working with wood and hand tools
- experience working with children in a classroom setting
- able to be collaborative in teaching, learning, and caring for tools and the classroom
The hours are flexible between 9:00 and 3:00. This position has the possibility to develop into a part time teaching position.

Maintenance Team Worker
Threefold Educational Foundation and School is seeking a full time maintenance worker to join our facilities team. The Foundation is an educational not-for-profit supporting a number of institutions on our beautiful 140 acre campus in Rockland County. The campus includes academic buildings as well as residential properties. The successful candidate will have prior maintenance experience, good customer service skills and good organizational skills. This is a full time position, with time split between the general campus and the Green Meadow Waldorf School, a K-12 private school on the grounds. The position reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor. Occasional weekend and emergency on-call availability required.
Compensation salary range ($41,600 -$52,000) including benefits
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Responds to daily maintenance requests from residents and educational tenants.
- Inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repair.
- Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs.
- Performs range of general repairs including light carpentry; light plumbing and electrical work; repairing drywall, doors and other building fixtures; painting and clearing drains and gutters.
- Performs routine maintenance on building systems.
- Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facilities.
- Assists with the set-up and break-down of tables and chairs and other equipment for campus events.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Good customer service skills for interactions with residents and educational faculty and staff.
- Ability to follow instructions from supervisors and to work independently.
- Ability to adhere to safety protocols.
- Knowledge of general carpentry and plumbing repairs.
- General electrical work experience a plus.
- Ability to safely use and care for hand tools and power tools.
- Good organizational, time management and communication skills.
